Free Wity. where has he gone. is it true what Wity tells me? that moderators are the kids who always handed over their dinner money and were bullied at school and that admins were the geeky spotty faced ones who brown nosed the teacher?

I'm sure if Wity were ever on trial in court he'd defend himself by mocking the judge and his silly wig, it seems to be his way. He's never met any of us and he's some way off the mark, so beyond the devastating revelation that Wity doesn't like me, I'm not offended.
I only gave him a two week ban for, in my judgement, being hostile (including to members who aren't used to him) and crass. He seems to be trying his hardest to make it longer but I don't give out bans for attacks directed at me personally. Some will disagree with the ban but at the end of the day we've got to make decisions on what we think is best for the forum.
I like the thread title though

I don't think there's a major problem....i just think Wity got a bit too carried away.....so too be fair i think he was due.....(self inflicted)
No doubt on a forum we all like to express a view but sometimes you have to curb it a bit as quite right new members might not understand the banter... i thought last week when wity over did it a bit what would new members think as it didn't look good?
So a 2 week ban was fair i thought to calm him down a bit, no doubt he is a keen poster and gives good advice at times just hope he can control himself on his return...without too much anger inside....else he'll be back on a ban!Comment

Let me put some stats your way to put what me, Robert, Ranen and Hegland do on the forum.
For every spammer you see, there are 10 that you don't, for every argument or deleted expletive you see there are 20 you don't see, this is all down to the support from the regular members who report posts and the dedication of the moderating team that spend so much of their spare time on the forum looking after things.
And yes we do have more tolerance with established members than we do of new, but some times even we have enough and have to take action against the regulars (especially those who have been warned or even banned in the past several times)
