This is funny! I went to the Disk Management thing, it didnt give me any options to make partitions, I thought Delete Partition would help me, its deleted the Hard Disk completely! How do I get it back?

I actually managed to get it back. It wants me to format it again. Swiss Knife isnt working on Vista. It says it stopped working...do you want to send error report? What now? Is there any other software that can help me make a partition?

Try going into the START menu, selecting 'Run' and typing this command:

      format [drive letter]: /fs:fat32 /q

So if your external drive is labelled 'E' type:

      format e: /fs:fat32 /q

It doesnt work. When I enter this (format i: /fs:fat32 /q(My drive is I)), I can see the command promt flash for a sec and nothing happens.

I have tried looking for answers online, but they all seeem to be very confusing.
I can't understand this "right click an unallocated region on your hard disk". Whats an 'unallocated region'?

When you deleted your old partition did you create a new one in its place?

Will it still format as NTFS? If not you have deleted the existing partition but not created a new one. I would format it as NTFS to at least make sure the partition is working ok.

I got it back and it is formatting in NTFS. It showed as RAW earlier, now its back in NTFS and now I finally managed to make 2 partitions using Swiss Knife, that Robert recomended. I started my system in safe mode and then run Swiss Knife, it worked Great!
              Thanks you guys!
