  • Wity and Semih! Come back please!

I thought I would never say this as not always agreed or liked their posts, but it was better than whats on now, but this forum has slided into mediocracy. No lively discussions, yes dozens of members online but whos posting? It also has spiraled me into posting less. I bet a few feel the same, as I received some PMs about it. Or is this the way a forum goes? The beeb was invaded by morons (not on here a lot, thank god)

Well, I just put this as i will end up probably only doing the predics!

Whats your view? Spoil the beans!

The forum seems to quietly tick over when theres no snooker on, but gets a lot busier turing tournaments. Thats fine by me TBH.

I have to say i agree to a certain extent with paul, there has seemed to me very little of interest lately to pass comment about.

This is however a personal thing for me, I don't see any point in sticking my two peneth in for the sake of it, unless its something that really bugs me or is something I am interested in. This is a view that won't be shared by a lot of others who seem to take interest whenever Ronnie changes the colour of his socks or feel the urge to commet on all things snooker.....But thats the attraction and beauty I guess of an open forum, amd like life it takes all sorts to keep the world turning.....

And more importantly a big thank you to all the guys who do take the time and make the effort to give us the chance to air our views on this forum as often as we choose....
Its not how well you play its how good you look playing that counts!

Sorry, i guess you did not read my comment on the PL today, where not one single post was dedicated on the Higgins - Ding match, No snooker on?. This is only a small example where even info on a normal snooker topic is not issued. I can go on, a member asking for the box office number, tickets for the GP took 2 days, the same member posting info about The UK tickets did not get a response until today.

And Archalf, you are spot on!

Another member and good friend has also informed me private its going into ever decreasing circles. Said it before, hi, how are you and goodbye does not do it for me. Happy we still got Statters to do the predics!

I said it some time ago that when certain people were gone things would die down. Im going mad with all the threads titles "Who is the best cue maker etc..".

Oh Paul, I will try to post more in order to save your lonely soul ... It is no big deal, one is easy to shift interests continuously in his/her life under certain conditions.

You know it is rather simple as I see. The situation looks bad, but the worst is that I am not able to find any worthy magic to have it changed. Not only Semi, do we already not remember Cyril, Rambon...?

I haven't really contributed much for the past few months either. With the lack of snooker being on as well as it still being late summer perhaps people just haven't got much interest in the game right now. Also there was an influx of idiots the joined up around the time of the World Championships that spoiled the debate for me. Far to many petty arguments or WUM's that were basically just out to spoil it for everyone.

I still browse the site every now and then and will contribute if I feel its worthwhile, but like some of the other members comments above I'm not a posting whore and won't comment for the sake of it.

I have noticed over the last few weeks the forum has died down somewhat but i'm sure it will start to pick up once the Season gets into to full flow. I look on the forum on a daily basis and am always interested what members on the forum are talking about and whats going on in the Snooker world.

I had been wondering why as well but didn't want to ask for fear of looking stupid. Perhaps he's been putting his efforts into his own website: http://www.semihsayginer.com/homepage.html. It looks very impressive.

I didn't realise he was Turkish. This explains some of his talent. When I was on holiday there this year the pool tables were outside, in the rain. You needed to be a genius with side just to get the cue-ball to go in a straight line.

The Semih_Sayginer on this forum is not the Turkish trickshot pool player! I asked him that and he is just a fan of him.
