Semih Banned???

Hi all,
Ive just seen this http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board/member.php?u=934 and it says banned below Semih's name, was he banned because I always thought he just left.
If he was banned then why?

Semih is banned on a voluntary basis. Strange as it sounds that's how it is: he actually asked to be banned.
He'd be my banned member of the year if I didn't feel so sad about it.

Maybe he was baned by Statman in a stroke of jealosy for being a posting leader on this forum.

Let's put it this way: Semih as all of you who have "met" him online know is a passionate person with strong opinions, "grounded" in a serious knowledge of the game. Sem had a few rough rubs with some people around here and he was feeling it was getting at him too much. He also feared one day he would go overboard and write something uncalled for a public forum. Not trusting himself entirely he asked to be banned.
Where is he banned? I'm sure he wouldn't like me to tell... so I wont.

WEll he wasnt on the list of the banned members of the year..maybe cuz it was more a leave than a ban...
And wasnt mentioned on the list of TSF member of the year either..tho he was a good poster here and spent half of this year or more on tsf..and imo his contribution for this forum in that half of the year is far more important than others members contribution in the whole year.. who WERE mentioned there .

for what its worth that type of person is important for a forum.....you need strong opinions to stimulate a discusion if people dont give a stuff about what they say whats the point in saying it ?
