  • Formula 1 - 2009 Season

Well the season is not too far away, and as a avid F1 fan im wondering what will happen this year what with all the new rule changes.

As a Brit I should go for Hamilton, and im a Hamilton fan. But I think Massa will get it as his determination to clinch the championship will be higher than ever.

Ferrari and McLaren has the best cars.
But it's quite simple that driver with best skills is Kubica.
He is previous world champion i think.

Sure McLaren and Ferrari are the cars to beat. BMW and Renault will probably be the nearest followers. I am not convinced that Massa is of champion material, as very few are. Also Kubica has still to prove this. So it might well be Räikkönen/Hamilton who are battling again on the top. However, serious predictions must wait till the first 2-3 races are over. Looking forward to the new season:snooker:

Currently we have new cars presentations, I can't wait to see first 2009 Grand Prix.

What do you think about Kubica? Polish fans aren't objective, we have some excitement about him in Poland

i think its so hard to predict anything at the moment with all the changes inforced on the teams, could go anyway, could see someone like Vittel pushing the big boys. going to be a good season whatever happens.

Glock didn't 'do' anything, his car on those tyres was impossible to drive when the rain really came down on the last lap. No conspiracy there whatsoever.

For me it was pretty clear from watching it with the live timings really, both Toyotas were 10/11 seconds slower on the last lap when the rain was visibly heavier. Those grooved tyres are very sensitive in the wet conditions, you couldn't really manage them in the same way that you can completely slick tyres.

Also it was the totally right decision by Toyota not to bring their drivers in to change to wet tyres because although they lost time on the last lap, Glock actually improved his position compared to what would have happened had he changed tyres.

Glock was 20 seconds slower in the last lap than the previous....not 10 seconds....the other toyota was 11 sec slower......that is why i say something is not right. That is my opinion and i may be wrong, but i will not change because the facts are backing it.

Yes and Hamilton let Kimi by at Spa and lost out. So all is fair and square now

Sorry yeah it was 20 seconds, my bad there.

However the other Toyota was just the same, Glock did a 1:44.731 and Trulli a 1:44.800 on the last lap so they are consistent.
