Did anyone on here buy the Parris ultimate 581 that was up on ebay last night ?

    I can't figure if I dodged a bullet, or missed a bargain.

Number 332325749106 but you need to go to advanced and tick the completed items box for it to show ( as it's ended ).

It's unreal. Even with proof as well they still side with the buyer even when it is an obvious criminal offence, to them it's just a civil dispute and they accept no responsibility for that. Sellers should be given better protection. I have often wondered how much agg' you have had over the years mate, hate to think as it goes.

I hope so mate because the way it stands people can take the p~#$. I agree too mate that there are good honest sellers on ebay. Over the years I found their quality honesty and integrity second to none, still do as well. Snooker culture is an honest culture, right down to admitting a foul that no one else saw and that same honesty can often be seen amongst us all when we buy and sell our cues. Pity though that it seems to have the snakes & vultures out there willing to exploit it.

Apparently he is sending the broken cue to me with a tracking number that doesn't exsist so once it arrives- if it arrives, the offence of fraud will be complete from my understanding of criminal law so I'm going to get in there first with a pre-emptive allegation rather than go getting myself nicked. The photos he sent were of a cue he had previously tried to sell on ebay a long time ago. Broken with a terrible glue job done around the splices. I googled his name and all sorts comes up on him he is at it big time by the look of it. I'll see what the police say anyway.

You need to speak in person to someone at ebay and tell them he's sending pics of a different cue

He never used to bother me and I just laughed at his prices as I thought no one was buying them but I see from his feedback he has sold three or four at least, just from what I checked, at unreal prices.
Just tell him you look forward to the police coming and if he doesn't contact them you will as he's trying to commit fraud.
