    Yes, that's true. With Jimmy's it was very high, because he tinkered and added length to the butt also. He did it 2 or 3 times and the badge ended up 4 inches or so from the end. I wouldn't be surprised if some people requested to copy Jimmy's cue and have it higher than usual, without realising why Jimmy's was the way it was

    I have heard that 1170 was Jimmy's cue and it went to China when he sold it.

    There was a similar cue badged Ultimate 1170 up for sale for ?8k recently alleged to be Jimmy's cue but I'm told thats it's not

    JP did change glue around this time (~2006/7) yes, but there was not a clean divide in the numbers though

    in the meantime a new one appeared on ebay, looks a bit suspicious if you ask me, badge that high up and round butt, what do you experts think?
