Spotted on eBay

[Cue crafty]

Interesting that the scoreboard is earlier (pre-1891) than the table (1901-10) so must have been collected separately by the present owner. Fred Cosst is not on my radar, so I assume he is modern.

Thanks 100-uper, I tried Googling Fred but found no details at all.

The scoreboard must be worth around £500, so not a bad price.

Never knew scoreboards are so expensive.

these scoreboards are difficult to value, they have been very expensive in the years past but dont seem to get this sort of money anymore.

The table is Burroughes & Watts. The plate is not easy to see from the photo, but if the vendor included a close up I believe it would say "Patent Eureka Groove Extra Low Fast Cushions. By Special Appointment to his Majesty King Edward VII" hence the date of 1901-10. I've not seen a model name given to this design, although it probably had one at the time.

Edit: to me it looks like a Britannia ebony cue going by 3/4 joint with an awful fake Parris badge lol

Aye, looks like the seller is a cashconverters store and been duped.
I've sent them a message stating its a fake.

looked at MW's site, is the "Bullseye" ferrule what he calls the Low Deflection fibre ferrule?
(this is NOT the blackspin ferrule)

Yes its my cue i had it lengthened by john parris last year and the butt diameter increased slightly.
