Yes and no. Perfect chevrons is a bonus for some but the main reason I thought was consistency of shaft density, flex and resonance/feel. Personally, the chevrons are eye numbing, far too dark and bright. Looks really artificial to my eyes but I understand why folk wish for the mechanical properties. Unfortunately, the one person who can talk from experience about these cues is banned. Ramon, your passing is with regret.

[QUOTE=Wity.;894684]Even some cheap cues can be superb players ?

    Really ?

    You sure?

    C' mon tell the truth?

You really truly honestly believe "Even some cheap cues can be superb players?"

Wity , come to my club and i will show you an ex pro who uses a cue that cost less than £50 . His son also has one , and i rate that cue better .

The cues are made by David Wu . He rates them so highly that after he got his son one , he wanted one . So i managed to get one on Ebay for him .

His sons one is that good that i reckon you could put any top cuemakers badge in it and you couldn't tell the difference .

So , yes , you can get a cheap cue that is a player .

No wasnt with your "sod it post".
Over the years yes I have had 20-25 parris cues pass through my hands I collect some cues buy then move them on.

Parris cues in essence are not bad just perhaps not as good as some but its a matter of opinion. Even some cheap cues can be superb players.
Please don't label people with insulting terms just because they do not share your opinion.

You seem to have a sharp sense of humour and could be a great re-addition to the site so please be nice.
Anyone who livens the place up a bit I welcome.
