  • Am I missing something here, they are £8.17 on the Parris website although there is a minimum order of £25, but you can still buy 4 of them for less than the price of the one on eBay. Why would anyone pay almost £35 for a towel!! Any half decent towel will do the same job.

    • Exactly what I thought, am I missing something...............:-) if you look at the people bidding on it they've all got lots of Ebay buying history, so not zero bidders bidding it up. Think I'm in the wrong profession; obviously very lucrative this towel selling industry:-)

      • It's maybe a rare batch with the wrong colour of overlocking thread used, which were all supposed to be destroyed.

Think Sex Pistols : God save the queen, on A&M label. . .

Folk will sell / buy anything :-

if those under the mental Health act are willing to wait 3 years for a cue and then getting invoiced a grand, then I'm sure spending £35 on the Parris brand towel wouldnt be a problem.

              • Dunno about that olde ash, could be legit but looks a bit pristine and the shaft doesn't appear to have much in the way of age or wear to it. Could have been refinished i suppose. Splice fingers also look a bit on the long side.

Aparently it's whippy, so fine over short distances, but with long pots, "sprays the ball all over the place".

Absolutely nothing wrong with that cue, can see by the shape of the butt that it's exactly the same as the one I have.
That's why I tried to buy it at the time!
