  • Yeah you can clearly see traces of glue and marks on that badge.
Clearly it is tampered with, i wouldn't trust it.

probably the poorest fake I have seen. The sellers Ebay username is quite fitting!

        • itsnoteasy A butters cue

dont see many these days. Seller looks genuine and the line about unbadged cues rings a bell. Thought Iā€™d share, seem to remember you having one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166971559...mis&media=COPY

          • Can't quote as per usual.
I've still got mine CC, pretty similar to that one. I agree you don't see them much nowadays. Jims cues were all the rage for a while. A very underrated cue maker imo.
IIRC Tom Walker still plays with one.
mine is unbadged, that one looks legit to me, Jim's shafts have that slightly antique looking finish.
finish.when I met him I asked why some are badged and some weren't as there were always different rumours why it was. He told me the badged cues he made to definitely sell and the unbadged ones he made for himself, ended up not wanting/liking them so sold them.

Nice bit of info INE, thanks. Makes a lot of sense but when I see the prices of cues especially on eBay these days I thought this looked a bargain. Lots of people said Jim makes a nice cue, and I think this one is a decent example of that.
