the design of a single wood splice on top of the thick paler wood as a "veneer" was used on many cues over the years, back in the day,
but I think the B&W Champion was what JP was thinking of when he designed the Traditional model in the mid-90s
    only my opinion

see cues Q, R, and S in this selection - B&W Champs with various woods, but the same design

Plain ebony butts can be Classic or Ambassador models.
Special cues can be plain or any design you want on the ebony or rosewood butt
As well Paragon and Ultimate can be plain butts as well. Your choice, pay the money

No, I think the guy is meaning classic ebony design.
I think he is using the 'Traditional' word to attract buyers attention

A traditional that's actually a special...the second pic looks a bit odd with that line under the badge, could be a shadow i suppose.
I think it is the shadow that you can see on the carpet as well.

Well I guess second hand cloth might be worth a couple of hundred quid, so that's one expensive post-it note.

An old badge style parris 3/4 jointed at 12" going by the pics. You can bet your plums this will be going to China.
