The actual shaft on closer inspection is pretty nice looking, the arrows are a little elongated but they're very in line. Not looking a new cue just placing a bid on the offchance. Dont even think the is the original owner despite the spiel in the listing, i seen it advertised on panjo a while back.

The machine spliced h&o cue is down to a bargain 750.

Its more than likely a thai cue anyway, from the scuttlebutt doing the rounds he's never really had the facilities to make a cue besides when he worked at hunt & o'byrne and then with Robert Osbourne. In all likelihood this was a thai cue before it became a big thing with certain people to import these and badge them as their own.
