In an odd way Raymond could take it as a compliment that his cues are that good and sought after that people are copying them, ultimately though its wrong!

Nice looking cue this - never tried one of his cues must be decent if people are going to the trouble of copying them - never see any fake BCE's about

Should see it as a compliment really.

People are not copying Raymond's cues all they are doing is simply sticking badges on any old cues like they do with Hunt & O'byrne, O'Min, etc or anything else they can make a few quid.it happened with Dave Coutts, it's also great a great sales pitch so to speak to put on FB that there are people selling your cues which are Fake.

I don't think anyone is questioning your cue desso. They are just stating that the maker of your cue has posted on facebook that there are fakes being sold in Asia.

There possibly are yes, I wouldn't know. But for sure, it's a great way for someone to elevate a profile of a product, to claim theirs is copied in another country.

As for this particular cue, it appears utterly indistinguishable from any other I've ever seen with this same badge. The production method to make the badge is identical, the font is identical, the timber on the lower splices has appeared on other cues with the same name badge, the shaping at the bottom of the butt end is identical, the base joint appears identical in diameter (although it's not possible to see the thread)

To my eyes, it appears to be what it says it is.
