Collectable American pool cues are always going to be more expensive than snooker cues. Precious metals, leathers and precision artwork makes them so... :snooker:

That cue wasn't made in Thailand, so it can't be worth 28k. :biggrin-new:

This one seems a little speculative to say the least. Machine spliced 3/4 H&Os for £900 !! I'll pass.

But , collecting Son of a batches ? Well ... that aint so hard .

Don't understand how you can moan about the price of cues...

You know the price... buy it or don't buy it?

                      On the other hand:
                      Fuel
                      Insurance
                      Flight Fares in school holidays

Anything that changes sporadically based on nonsense... moan away

Depends on why the price is set, it does annoy me people buy cues that are already expensive, for good reason I might add, then someone whacks it on eBay plus £1500-£2000, that does really wind me up. On the other hand if you get a cue custom made by one of the reputable cue makers and are happy to pay for it, if that cue turns out to be the 'one' or at least improves your game in only a minimal way then your cue is worth a lot more than you paid for it, to you anyway. My Andy Travis didn't cost me a massive amount, but I'm not even interested in playing with any other cue, it's perfect for me and don't think I will have any plans to change it at all, the feel through the cue is better than any other cue I have ever used, and for that reason the cue is worth thousands! But only to me!
