Anyway people seem to have forgotten what this thread was about... Roll up roll up!!! get your hands on a spectacular trevor white cue with beautiful birds eye maple and satinwood. This cue is brilliant for those of you who are bird lovers... Even though birds eye maple is nothing to do with birds... Roll on the bidders who'll offer £4.50?
Sorry in a strange mood tonight and slightly bored.

        Right my turn

cueman, listen to what I say and listen very carefully.

People who I do not want doing business on this forum do not do business on this forum, people who I want doing business on this forum do so.

The way this site is run is up to me and me alone and I will not tolerate people like yourself speaking on my behalf or making implications like you have in this thread. Some people say I am too harsh and others too lax in some areas, but since I have taken over the forum only 18 months ago the site has grown from under 4,000 to 10,000+ members, so there has got to be something I am doing right.

Members like ADR147 help out a great deal on the site and are more than welcome to self promote (within reason, I am not going to give him his own section on the forum or anything ) there are also a great number of other business owners who seem to spend more time on TSF than they do running their own business's, which is fine by me.

So I suggest that if you do not like what is going on, in this section ....... oh and BTW you are in the Snooker Items For Sale section (The clue is in the title) then you do not read what is being said in here.

That is my final word on this matter, I don;t want any emails or PM's or what ever, so back on track and ADR147 has a cue for sale 300 pound notes, first come first served. Great deal if you ask me and if I had the cash I would rip his hand off.

Personally, (and this is not my deal or anything to do with me)

I don't think Ferret could have summed it up much better than that, so credit to him.

The facility does exist in this forum for people to buy and sell if they so choose, which it seems, is all that's happening here, no crime.

As to the value of any particular cue, made by any maker, I am certain that those viewing this site can check and verify what costs what from each maker for themselves.

The cue in questions would not cost quite what Andrew thought it might (he has not checked with me) but, by the same token, I know for a fact he paid exactly what he said he did for it.

When we consider that, he isn't really making a massive profit on this particular cue.

I thought you had a stockpile of 10,000,000,000 cues? There must be one amongst them you like!

no i rarely have more than about 20. - i used to have a lot of antique cues but they started taking over the house and the misses hinted that they had to go. when you are married to a french woman its best not to put them to the test.

What about that beautiful Burwat replica you had? You weren't mad enough to part with that one, were you?

Concerning the "putting a French woman to the test" (sic) I can confirm that, and funnily enough, for much the same reason!!
