I have also posted this cue on AZBillards, where I am allowed to post pictures as an attachment. Here is the thread
      http://forums.azbilliards.com/showth...65#post1716365

There is small check at the bottom of the butt which was not mentioned in the original post, that doesn't affect playablility

      Thanks again

Does it look to anyone else like someone sanded the ferrule and the shaft directly underneath it at the same time? It looks very strange in that picture

What is a canvas phelonic ferrule?

Canvas Phelonic has become fairly popular here in Canada, whether is be for snooker or pool. Seems to give a softer hit according to players here.
The part below the ferrule has not been sanded. When the ferrule was replaced, the expoxy was cleaned away with some nail polish remover, removing some dirt near the top of the shaft, thus the slightly lighter color. With time, is shall accumulate aging just like all other cues do..

              Hope this helps

The link you gave is for cues only from Mastercraft. Are you saying John Parris cues are on par with Mastercraft. I'm quite surprised.

i don't give a link but yes they are! - £100 was based on it needs a new ferrule a refinish and a repair at the bottom.

                      Just curious....
When you mention re-finish, what specifically are you referring to? And what kind of repair would be appropriate for the butt as the check is only a 1/2' long and appears to stop at the insignia??

If the purchaser would like a brass ferrule, I could happily arrange that to be done prior to shipping.

                      Thanks for your input

once you change the ferrule and genenal repair work it needs to be re-finished ie oil oiled if its not done by parris its not the same cue.
