I will never have the dough to buy a house with a billiard room. Well not in England. And I have only been in a few houses that had a room big enough to contain a 12 foot table.
Having said that a friend of Dad bought a palace in Thailand 8 years ago for less than 100K and it had a mable swimming pool and a tennis court. And he converted like a ball room into a games/billiard room with a full size table. And on top of this it was on the edge of a golf course. England where your money never streches very far and the Government tax the working man and woman until they squeak.

Yeah it is very cheap, I know a pro that purchased a table exactly the same as these for £12,000 just 2 years ago.

Would be fun to have. The recession makes for bargain prices. I wonder what the shipping cost would be to Sweden?

We are looking into international shipping charges now, it would have to be done via a container which is the cheapest option but times would be anything form 4 to 8 weeks.

yeah your rite the table is the cheapest part of the whole plan, by a HUGE margine. I could have bought several clubs for what my house cost me and still had $$$ left over. It is a pleasure to have it though, I have been very lucky.

                              Typical!

I was after one of these about 5/6 years back, when they were about 8 grand new (non-silver legged at the time). It was just at the time when Rileys went bust, and the best equivalent that BCE (who bought the name) could offer just didn't make sense as it wasn't used in the pro comps.

Ended up getting a Birmingham Billiards Monarch table with steel blocks for around 4k.

What condition are the tables in?

As an aside I looked all over for a house that could fit a full size table in, and as a first time buyer every Estate Agent said I was dreaming, and that it'd cost well over £250k. I found a 2 bedroomed house in a lovely area of Cheshire with a room that fits the table fine (27' x 17'), and it didn't cost anything like that!
Follow your dreams, and don't let anyone knock you down.
