Dave coutts cue that is for sale is around 15 years old & was originally 1 piece with a plain ebony butt. Two years ago I went back to dave & got him to put a 3/4 joint in the cue near the tips of the splices. (spiral lok joints - which he currently uses on all his cues)
Then he added 4 splices of tulipwood & fitted a base joint for 6" extension. Please see details below, Im looking for £220 plus postage, package is as follows.
Cue:
57.5" long,
very responsive ash shaft with lots of grain detail & is still firm shafted,
joint fitted at just over 16" cue balances at 17.5"
Butt diameter is 30mm
tip size is 9.25mm

base joint, 6" mini butt & extension is by Peradon, taken from a previous cue but fitted by Dave Coutts.
Case:
Peradon red & black two tone full leather case which fits cue plus extensions, does have a few scuffs around the edges as you would expect from normal play but everything else is spot on, suede inner is in very good condition.
