I have tried them for about 10 hours of practicing by myself.

When I first used it, it felt a bit too hard for my liking.

But after a while I started to appreciate the benefit of the firmness of the tip.

After 10 hours, the tip did not mushroom at all, and the shape is holding very well.

The biggest improvement I have noticed is when I play a stun or a top stun shot, the feel is much more "solid" and I get much more consistent result. I also get to move the ball around a bit better.

I have taken a quick snapshot of the tip for your reference. As you can see, although I did not really do anything rather than filing it once, it is holding its doom shape much better than an Elk after 10 hours of self practice.

If you like it thinner, you can always take a bit of time to shape it thinner.

Even if you file it down, it will still last you a long time because it does not wear off as fast as a regular tip. Besides, compared to the 14mm laminated tips, you get more layers as the layers are made thinner with the 10/11mm snooker version, so you still get to enjoy more of the tip even after you have made it thinner.
