Oldgit:
I'll buy the cue for 325 quid (don't have pound sign on my keyboard) plus postage to Canada (likely about 30 quid or so I think) includes 2 extensions and case.
If you can do PayPal, let me know or any other method of payment although a direct wire into your account costs me another 20 quid up front and then your bank charges you a 10 quid admin fee.

Was the cue broken and repaired when John put his badge on, what happened to the Will Hunt badge?
Thank you.
So, in answer to your question, no the cue has never been broken, never needed repairing but has been extended to keep the length at 58in.

I have brought the cue into work and have now checked the ferrule size with very accurate digital calipers and the ferrule is now 9.1mm at the tip end of the ferrule and 9.3mm at the bottom of the ferrule so unless this is your preferred size then the cue will need a new ferrule fitted.

I know that Matthew Stevens is one of the worst for this and he has had his cue extended many times. The cue that I have has been extended and maintained by John Parris over the years and if Parris does any work on a cue that has not been made by him then he gives you the option of replacing the badge with a 'John Parris Customised' badge, which is obviously good advertising for him especially on a top pros cue.

Sorry to be so redundant with my questions. When you said extended, do you mean they need to extend the butt end because they have taken off too much of tip at the front end. I am sorry it is just that I have never heard of this before.
How do the cue makers usually do this?
Thank you so much for your info.
