  • Help a Canadian: Sell him a cue

Out this part of the world, we rarely get the chance to see new cues or used cues show up on the local pool halls. I went to the local billiards store today, and they had a total of 7 snooker cues. Seven! And next to them, about 100 pool cues. Suffice to say, I was not a happy snooker fan today. It just doesn't have a following here like it does in UK, Scotland, Ireland.

    Anyways, that's my rant.

    MY REQUEST
Please sell me a cue. I don't want to be contacted by cons, or scammers. The cue will need to be shipped to Vancouver, Canada. I'm a decent guy and I work hard for my money. Just looking for a lively Ash 3/4 or one piece at a reasonable price.

Send me a PM if you have something interesting to sell me

Thanks! I checked it. So it's a Mastercraft cue. So these are the originals and not some Chinese knockoff right? Sorry, I know that sounds bad, but I had a bad experience some years ago with a Chinese knockoff and never recovered

ADR147 is very reputable and only sells originals not knock offs or anything else... if it says mastercraft cue, then thats what it will be, if it says parris ultimate that is what you will get from him

I've bought a Mastercraft cue through ADR and I can highly recommend doing so.

Mastercraft make great cues for the money, the only downside to them is the splices don't always match up perfectly, but apart from that they're really well made and play brilliantly.

Thanks Dan and Andy! I appreciate it. Someone PM'd me and also mentioned GBL cues from Stu as well.

I ended up snatching up a used Barracuda for 150 bones from a friend. I LOVE it. It's tempermental, whippy, thin, finicky, but super responsive and seemingly more powerful than u would expect - just the way I like it

If you check the Parris website look for the "exclusive"
It is 17.5 oz., 9.5mm tip, length 57", ash shaft.
The cue is "as new" with no marks or dents and as straight as the day I purchased it. However, I am too tall for this cue and am using one 3" longer.
The cue comes with the long extension (21 1/2 " closed and 35" fully open).
I am a professional wood-turner and made an 8" wood extension using a Parris quick release joint. If you want to share your e-mail address I can send a picture or two.

This cue is 57", ash shaft, weight 17.5 oz. with a 9.5 mm. tip. It comes with the long extension and an 8" wood extension made with a Parris insert. You can view it on the Parris web site, "exclusive".
The cost is $500 Canadian and shipping.
I used it one day last week and it performs well.

I guess Carl Aranda really does not like John Parris.

Who made this Bob Marshall cue exactly?
