It is hard to resist making comment on handmade cue master Keith Auld.

Out of respect for the seller who is probably just trying to get rid of the cue, I will try to stay away from this thread....

    ...but I cannot promise...

...you know, it is hard to resist...

...okay, I will try my best.

The cue is dead straight and stiff.
It rolls perfectly on the table.

NEVER roll a cue on a table its the golden rule.

to all those people who think it looks a decent cue on here are you looking at different photos from me?

Ive seen this thread since being banned and waiting till i was unbanned....

            Ok here goes...

            1) Badge is wonky
            2) There are sanding scratches on the butt
            3) Burr has not been filled (ie: natural gaps in burr are left open)
            4) Glue marks all around butt join
            5) Ferrule is scratched and tapered unevenly to shaft

And what wood is that veneer??? Knotty pine!!

Im sorry Willytan, its no offence to you at all. Just I cannot see how it would of ever left a cuemakers hands.

I'd recommend ebaying it mate, you wont sell it on here.

Dan, I believe the veneer is birdseye maple.

Willy, the only person on this forum who have praised Keith Auld that I can remember was KeithinFrance--if he really meant what he said, may be he would buy this cue from you?

sorry willytan, think you have more chance of getting a good price on ebay than here....
i think you have more chance of selling a bamboo cane with a jelly tot stuck on the end to a forum member than this cue !!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, this cue ***might*** become a collector's item as I think Keith Auld is selling his workshop and these might be the last batch ever to come from the ***master cuemaker***~~~
Of course, it is unclear whether the shop has or can be sold~~~
