  • ***Ash cue wanted***

Hi all im looking for a snooker cue in the following specs: 57", 3/4 jointed, ash shaft, handspliced preffered but machine spliced would also do, 9.5mm-10mm tip & as heavy as possible. I purely want the cue for breaking when playing pool as my normal cue has a small tip & is very light. Im not looking for top end stuff I just want something that is straight with a decent joint & as close to the specs as possible, looking to spend £75 max. Thanks for looking & anyone who can help I would be extremely grateful.

What cue do you currently have? If its somebody say Welsh pool, craftsman, mastercraft etc. You could always see if they could make you a second shaft for your pool cue?
sigpic A Truly Beakerific Long Pot Sir!

Thanks for the replies im currently using an osborne red plate cue for my pool but my old cue is a mastercraft so I could have another shaft made for it, with regards to using a pub cue to break the league i play in doesnt tend to have many about plus I would rather have something in my case so I know I have one.

I have an ash Dunns cue, 57" (straight), 3/4 good joint, handspliced, 9.5mm, 19 oz , 4 lower splices (in a yellowish wood) ideal as a break cue/snooker cue, yours for 45 and a fiver postage if you want

Just remembered, also got a cheap "East Sea" chinese cue to the same spec, nothing wrong with it at all ideal break cue which you could have for 15 quid + 5 postage
