  • John Parris special on ebay

    Can someone advise me on how much you would pay for this if it were new ?
    (ime thinking £500 tops for cue + £200 tops for case)

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

    Theres no reserve so a bargain to be had maybe, BUT this is what i asked seller;

    Dear tidge_123,

    Hi - your photos are very small - anything you can do about it ?? (add some more maybe) plus you say "this is a proffesional £2000+ package" it doesnt cost anywhere near that! thats very misleading dont you think ??

    And this is the reply i got;

    Dear jrc750,

    oh sorry did you buy the cue and have a reciept? uh no,so i think you should bid or shut up! dont YOU think?

          Dont worry i wont be bidding now, this is how i replied;

          Dear tidge_123,

          Well with that attitude mate you dont deserve to get decent money for it. Looking at John Parris website the cue starts from £400 + £200 tops for the case - you must have specified a hell of a lot of splicings to get it past £2000 - your just a con artist by the sound of it - BUT ime prepared to back down and say sorry IF you can quickly run thro how special this cue is

              I was assuming it was his first sale and so thought he would be a bit more helpful with his answers

                  The seller relisted this item, the older list end up like this:
                  http://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISA...sted=tidge_123

                  It's funny when he mentioned the original retail price of the cue was over £900, he treat bidders like mug... no surprise the winning bidder run away without a trace.

                    400 GBP for a Peradon leather case?
                    The guy has been ripped of when he bought it...
                    I am confused... Oh wait... Maybe I'm not...

                      I'll definite not interest!!! It's got nothing to do with the class or quality of the cue , but the seller.

                        So he claimed to have bought the cue for £900 + case for £400 = £1300 (although he has "misplaced" the receipt !)
                        But now its a £2000+ package (and all with crap photos)

                        Just noticed he lists the cue as MAPLE, whereas on the original listing supplied by 147Q
