  • John parris special cue for sale

Hi all i have a awesome one off custom made John Parris Special cue and case for sale. This cue is tottally mint in every way. The specs of the cue are:
    Length 60"
    9.9mm tip
    19" balance point
    18.5oz
    jointed at 17 3/4"
29.5mm butt diametre( no flatt )
Measures 15.25mm at 12" down the Ash shaft so not a whippy cue at all.
The Butt comprises of jet black ebony with 4 large splices of maple and 4 further splices of king wood. All the splices are perfectly even.
The shaft has 7 chevrons running down the length and is silky smooth and straight as a die,on the reverse side of the shaft there are no chevrons to view so you have the choice to site with arrows or none at all,you see very few cues with a shaft like this ,i had to wait 9 months for a shaft like this to come up. This shaft is one of the best i have seen. Also there is a sd joint in the base of the cue which takes the ebony mini butt and telescopic extension which are both included. The cue comes in a nice black&white leather case which is in very good condition.
All in all this is a magnificent package which would cost in excess of £850 with the case, and you would have to wait at least 8 or 9 months for jp to make you one.
Looking at offers around £600 to be payed with a paypal gift. I will post free to the uk but please contact me for price to post overseas. This cue looks and plays awesome. I have seen many ultimate cues and in my opinion this cue is as good and a lot better than many ultimates i have seen.
Anybody interested pm me or send me a e-mail to les147@ntlworld.com.

I think its the masur birch.
He has a single little block which he has finished and it came up really nice.
He has not used it to actually make a cue with yet.
Have you used it at all? Does it still come up well?
He didnt charge me anywhere near as much as he charges for snakewood or thuya burr, is that a mistake on his behalf??
