Very complex issue as an aside (sorry for going off topic), as far as understand it from fellow bean counters in the office, anything bought with the intention of making a profit is strictly taxable....

that might be true - although there is something about 6 months ownership? - also i buy old cues because i like them not to make a profit that said i try hard not to make a loss!

YO~ so i bought the joe davis 500 break cue from here, and it didnt have a ferrule. i went n had a ferrule put on, 8.5 mm one, and its awesome :P loving it! wonderful playing cue, slight warp, but ok cause i hold it with the warp goin up, and its awesome

wonderful playing cue, perfect for pool! thanks andrew also love the riley prize cue, bit butt heavy, but wonderful n responsive (despite the taper making it a touch whippy) but it doesnt seem to affect the cue's ability to play :P

all in all, very happy =]

only downside was the case got a lil damaged through transit, but im glad the cues r ok! the case did its job :P
