A lot of people have emailed me about this cue, so as the maker of the cue, I would like to set the record straight.
First of all, the extensions that come with this cue were not purchased from or made by me. I have no idea where they came from.
This cue was custom made for a customer, built per the special request of a customer. However, there were some payment issue so the cue was listed on ebay. This cue does not hit exactly like my standard cues.
At the time when it was listed, it was brand new, and was exactly as shown in the pictures, with no dents/dings/scratch or whatever.
A buyer from China purchased the cue. He is also a member on here. He was the guy who won Chatlag's auction then decided not to pay because after he won the auction he believed the cue was not real.
Anyway, this buyer purchased the cue and sent me full payment about a week after the auction ended. Cue was posted by Express post (EMS) right after payment was received.
About 10 days or so later after he received the cue he showed me some pictures. It was clear from the pictures that the cue was dented and there was a crack on the finish on the snakewood, along with a ding on the butt end.
My cues are oil finished but I have applied a special finish on the snakewood splice alone to protect it. The finish on the snakewood was dented and a piece has come off. There was a ding on the butt end. It appeared that the cue was involed in some kind of accident or something. I adviced the buyer to be more careful with his equipment and adviced him to send the cue back to have the cue refinished by me. It broke my heart to see my cue being abused so shortly after it was sold. I took a lot of extra effort to apply a special finish to the snakewood to protect it and it now has been seriously damaged.
The buyer never replied. I have no idea if he has the cue fixed by someone in China or if he decided to just leave it.
Now, I see the cue is being listed here, with pictures taken from my photo album (without my consent), representing the cue as being in the condition same as when the pictures were taken--without any mention of the above said issues and the fact that the extensions are not original.
I would think if you have a cue for sale and it is in a different condition as when the cue was first completed that you should post actual pictures of the cue, and any parts that have been fixed or is/are not original should be disclosed.
Also, if you did not take those pictures, you should be honest about it, rather than trying to pass them as if they were taken by you.
When asked what he used to oil the cue before the pictures were taken,
I was thinking of keeping quiet but due to the amount of emails I have received, and the fact that I take great pride in my workmanship and I do not want anyone to be disappointed about something that was not made/repair by me, I feel that I should address and disclose this info just to be fair to any potential buyer and whoever is interested in the cue.
I am sorry I have no intention of interferring with someone else's sales. If actual pictures of the cue were shown, nothing was misrepresnted, and the true condition of the cue was mentioned, I would not have said a single word in this thread.
Thank you very much.

Firstly i will like to aplogize for using your photos without your permission. I wanna show the members here how nice the cue is, it was also lazy on my part to snap pictures of the cue.
For start, after receiving the cue from the China seller, i found that there is a small crack on the lacquer like finish over the snakewood splice. I was really ****ed & angry for he did not mention anything about any dents or cracks on the cue.
Secondly, i did not wanna sell the cue bcos of its defects but bcos the cue is just too stiff for my liking & own playing style. In fact i love the cue very much, tried changing various density tips to counter the stiffness of the cue but to no aval. Then instead of hanging the cue on my wall just for visual, i might as well sell the cue to someone else whom can put the cue to it best which is on the snooker table.
Finally, i have done my utmost effort to seal the crack with wax and have it polished with a buffing machine to repair the blemish. I will gladly take the cue off the sale thread if you feel that my action will tarnish your reputation.
I like to extend my deepest apoloises for my inappropriate actions.
Not that i want to get involved in any dispute / misunderstanding between forum members so i am not going to comment without knowing the full facts but having dealt with Pooljunkie i think i am in a position to comment on my dealing with him and his poroducts .
Having dealt with Pooljunkie i know from first hand expeience and can say thet he is one of the most honest guys i,ve ever had the pleasure to deal with , and on the sale of my cue his honesty meant that he lost out a bit financially .
As for his cue i wrote what i thought in a seperate thread and will echo what i said . For me the cue is perfect in every way , the look the feel the balance , the taper i just cant find a fault in it .
As for the stiffness of the cue going by the tapping against the hand , which is not a true indication , then i,ve felt cues both whippier and stiffer , but will write my review about that when i have chance to play with it .
I,m not here to brown nose anybody , i,m just saying some truths and facts and if anyone wants examples of Airins honesty i will only be too happy to oblige .
We all like to make a shilling but lets be all honest and open with each other , thats the least we can all expect of each other and i.m sure that 99% of the time we all are .

I totally second your words about his cue quality.

CUE IS HEREBY NOT FOR SALE
Willytan the last thing you want is to be stuck with a cue that your not going to use so your losing out financially .
That cue is lovely its just a pity that it seems to have been abused . If you receive a cue that has been damaged and not told about it you should either have had the person to take it back or get them to pay for the repair , and if a person has any morals they should duly offer .
I think it's best for bro willy to go back to pooljunkie or some pro cue makers(nearest would be UT or Omin) too have them repair.
Willy would have lost all the trust with the China seller. It's s shame that sellers did such thing.

I agree but if Willytan bought the cue with damage then the person who he bought it off should have the principles to offer to pay for the repair

Yeah.. that's the responsibility of a seller. At least he should be honest enough to tell buyers that there are damages before selling. I think willy cant locate or contact him.
Why dun we just cast this cue aside and stop dwelling on what has already happened. If I were to send my cue for service by poolqjunkie, I will still incur extra on the postage charge to & fro, there for I decided to repair the cue with my limited knowledge.
