U have the cue on ebay though and as previously posted on this forum that u would listen to offers over 500? when questioned on ebay u said u wanted 600 through the paypal gift offering no assurances to the buyer/ now where i appreciate the quality of the package and rest assured that i know the sell on value...i am confused when u say one thing on one website and ask for more on the other? Please confirm what u are ideally looking for the cue and if pushed and its not selling...ur lowest price. u say also that the cue is seven months old? why order a parris ultimate then at the same time if u think this package is awesome? and then ask about the postage on a mastercraft cue on this website just the other day? I apologise in advance if u are annoyed by some BUYERS lack of knowledge but give us a bit of respect to the clarity of whats on offer and cement down what u are looking for it..u have the cue on ebay for 630 or nearest offer but taking into account ebay and paypal fees...im guessing u must be paying around 50 to list and get ur money out of paypal...taking that into account u must alter ur asking price as u were asking for offers over 500 pounds on this website? confusing....Tam

Looking at eBay I can see that the highest bid you got for the entire set was £490 a little while ago.
If you're prepared to be more realistic, I'm happy to give you around £300 for the cue. if not, all the best!
I can see you've got a red plate up which hasn't sold either.

I bought the one piece green plate I am currently using for £285 on eBay a month and a half ago. It is a beautiful cue and the only thing it doesn't do is travel well, which is why I was looking for a 2 piece green plate I could travel with. Link below.

There was another green plate on eBay that sold for £379 (including an extension I was told which is not what the ad says as the buyer paid full price) a couple of weeks. Link below. In fact, I had struck a deal with the seller to sell jsut the cue it for £300 (as it has a larger tip) but someone pressed the buy it now button before we could complete.

I have no axe to grind here at all. Just pointing out you can certainly buy an excellent green plate of around £300.

But don't go around saying you can't buy a green plate for circa £300. The evidence is above in black and white.
I'm no expert on cues, but I can read.

The only thing that diffrenciated this green plate as I understand it, is it appearance (which no doubt carries some value), but it won't play any better or worse than an identical piece without the pretty bits.
But like I said, I'm with Tammajock here, if you get the money you're asking for it, I'd only be happy for you. It's no skin off my nose.

In any event buddy, you don't need to be Einstein to work that there's no way on God's green earth I'll ever own this cue!
I have safely written this one off and will continue looking for a 2 piece green plate, without the fancy woods for a budget that suits my humble station.
Plus, I'd have to be pretty easy going to buy something off someone who gets personal with you on a forum. There's no way someone would do that in real life, because it risks a smack in the nose. The internet's a great place to be macho!

Re. the personalisation thing, I'll have to disagree with you because according to LES147 I ("obviously") know nothing about cues.

True mate......the guy was askin not just the 400 quid "adr" which you think you would be confident of selling on...he was askin 530 as he himself quoted on this website earlier and as i quoted earlier although he must have taken the post off, he said he would be listening to offers over 500 quid for the 2!!!!! He has the 2 on ebay the now for 630 or nearest offer which he must be taking the ebay and paypal fees into account..Now as a buyer and I was interested in the package...its not good to post the items for sale on 2 websites and ask for differing amounts i would be guessing...put it this way...i was just off the phone to robert osbourne today and he said that the blueplate stock cue ...he no longer makes due to the demand from trade orders from china wanting a replica to ronnie osullivans cue....his blackplate is no longer for sale although it appears on the website but he reassures me as i tried to purchase one that he said he would have got in touch to change my order...cut a long story short...he said the only difference between redplates and green plates and blackplates are man hours!!!!!...same shafts used and in his own words and i quote " The prices are ridiculous that are getting asked for second hand cues on websites such as these...put it this way...if a car can lose four figures driving out a show court then put that in a par with a piece of wood that can split, bend, etc... To conclude though...i wish the seller all the best in selling the package and truly hopes that he finds a buyer as i can only find myself agreeing in one aspect...that due to the waiting times...then that in itself can put a buyer off and indeed paying over the odds for what is un-arguable...a second hand cueTam
