i don't think they would even consider taking your order let alone how long it would take to make it if they did!

      I think that sounds reasonable.

Any other people with opinions on price!?

        Green Plate

I`ve got a green plate Hunt & Osborne 3/4 split, 58" 19oz 10mm tip. I paid £390 with extensions, had a red plate prior to this one paid £300 for, oh and I have a set of hunt & osborne extensions for sale if anyone wants them £30 plus postage.

Have also seen a Green Plate (one piece though) cue on eBay for http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
            for less

Guys, do you think £395 for the cue given that it doesn't have extensions is a fair price? I don't think I need the case and will buy a much cheaper one.
If you like the look of that there's no reserve after 200 so you might get it for 3 which would be a decent buy imo. could ask for better pics of the shaft first though if you're fussy about the grain

i,m not trying to be nosey or but in like but if its just over 58" then you can afford to cut off adleast half inch , and see what daimaeter that leaves you with .

maybe he is right...If you cut max half inch, what's the tip size would be?
lets say, if it's 57.5" and up and 9.7mm or bigger then it's ok.

Andrew, Can you check and tell me for sure what's the exactly length would be if you enlarge the the tip to 9.7mm-9.75mm?
As you know it's been a long time since I'm after such a cue.
Btw, Who is the ex-pro it was belong to?

IMO, it really depends on what you are looking for.
If you are just looking for a cue with a famous brand on it n have the money to burn, go for it.
But if you are looking for a reputable cue and something within your spec is up for grab, then balance upon what money you have n the cue you wanna have.
                                It is pure & simple!

Yes, if you were to customize a cue, the price is be lower and built to your requirements & spec. But it does not assure you that the cue will suit you well.
