  • eBay Rare and Beautiful Hornbeam Cannon Match Cue!

Someone is in for a real treat here, as up for sale, is a rare and beautiful Hornbeam Cannon Match Cue, with attractive burr splice and a good badge. I waited the best part of 20 years, to find one as good as this, and now I'm making it available.

    Specs are: 58" long, 9.5mm tip, 16 1/4 oz, butt diameter 30mm, balancing point at a whopping 18 1/2"

It is straight, with a beautiful honey coloured silky smooth glossy hornbeam shaft, and an attractive grain pattern, running all the way along the top of the cue to the tip. It's nicely balanced, and a medium stiff potting cue, that is easily the best example, of this rare Cannon Match cue I've seen!

One for you collectors and players alike, that's a real stunner up close!

Looking £250 or nearest offer...NOW SOLD!!!

Potter ... that is a glorious cue. If I could I would buy it
also because I hear this song when I gaze upon it's loveliness... some "loves" get better with age...

        "Harvest Moon"

        Come a little bit closer
Hear what I have to say
        Just like children sleepin'
We could dream this night away.

But there's a full moon risin'
Let's go dancin' in the light
We know where the music's playin'
Let's go out and feel the night.

Because I'm still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
Because I'm still in love with you
        On this harvest moon.

        When we were strangers
        I watched you from afar
        When we were lovers
I loved you with all my heart.

        But now it's gettin' late
And the moon is climbin' high
        I want to celebrate
See it shinin' in your eye.

Because I'm still in love with you
I want to see you dance again
Because I'm still in love with you
        On this harvest moon.

Not good to hijack/resurrect old threads bud. Start a new one, and if you can include some links to pictures that will help a lot.
Get up to 10 posts to post pictures.

There are also a few threads on here about Cannon Match Cues. Search them out (box in top right corner). Depending on what age/edition/condition it is will affect the price. That said, they are not fetching what they are worth at the minute, so maybe not the best time to sell. (A first edition Ash Cannon Match Cue went for £140 on ebay a couple of weeks ago, and it was worth more than that!)
If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!
