Which cue are you currently using mate?
You seem to be a serious player, how do you manage waiting so long for a cue if you are playing competitively.

parris quality
In my opinion you guys are simply paying for the name John Parris and its costing you all mega bucks,i honestly cannot remember the last time i seen a parris ulitimate that i thought was out of this world, ive seen so many shocking shafts even for his ultimate cues,i seen 5 cues he sent for John Higgins a few years back and they were quite simply shocking the standard of shafts he sent.
i also think from 700 to 1000 bucks is just a joke,i feel that the best shafts lie with cue makers in thailand etc, they seem to have lovely shafts for the money.
Ive had loads of cues and all mainly old hunts and early Robert osborne cues but also feel he has maked his prices well out of peoples range too.
i just feel its all about the cuemakers name with many members on here and many of you forget that its about the quality of wood and most importantly how the cue feels and plays to you.
Just thought id give you my thoughts.
