if there is no brass female joint to accept the mini butt extension, then if i were you id contact craftsman cues, they offer a cheap professional service for fitting the female brass joint to your cue, for their own extensions range and can offer the mini butt and also a blueray telescopic extension if needed, also you would save a few quid on the price of peradon extensons if like i say there isnt a brass female joint already fitted to the base of the cue.

Thomas Most of the folks who make cues will fit a female butt joint for you. Trouble is you'll have to send them your cue and and that will involve postage charges. The cost to fit the joint is relatively inexpensive. I think Craftsman charge £10. There's different types of joint so you'd need to make sure you get one fitted which is compatable with the extensions you intend to use.
There's a chap in Fife who does cue repairs but I'm afraid I don't have a contact number for him. Try asking around your club. Also there's a forum member JB134 who does cue repairs. He might be able to help. He's in Airdrie tho so maybe not that convenient.
