Nobody interested?? The case is worth £180 on its own. I am willing to consider serious offers as I am need of a quick sale. Or should I try ebay?? Any ideas considered!!

Yeah I know. It has been customised by John Parris, in fact he made a new butt and I had an end joint fitted along with extensions. I dont have original pics as I have had the cue for years and never imagined selling it. The administrator "Spike" can verify it is a H and OB as I used to practise with him and he bought a H and OB after trying mine out. Hope this helps!

am interested mate, just wondering if the cue would take a 10mm or close furrule at 58 inches?

and at a guess is the weight 18 or over?

would ya sell cue on its own?

I would imagine it would do, not a cue expert so cant say for certain! Not sure of weight but quite heavy, can try putting it on my bathroom scales!!
Possibly sell cue on its own, but wanna get rid of both as I cannot play now.
Not sure of exact size of ferrule/tip, I just estimated it at 9.5!

Is the mini butt and telescopic extension from the old Hunt & Obyrne or from Parris?

And what plate is your original H&O? The price can vary a lot from one plate to another.

Telescopic extension was from Parris when I had end joint fitted, but mini butt was from H and OB. I think it was a green plate.

Tony9ball68, I just want to clear a few things out with no offence,

                      1. If you are not sure the original plate, how can the market determine if 300 quid is the fair value?

                      2. The fact that telescopic ext. was bought from Parris when the end joint was fixed is very reasonable, but how come the mini butt was from H&O> I'm not sure if Hunt & Obyrne has ever produced mini butt before it ceased business in late 80's or early 90's. And one more thing is that can the end joint accomodate both Parris's ext. and H&O's mini butt? I'm not sure about this.

I thought it was a good price as the leather case was made to order and cost a lot on its own. The price is slightly negotiable too. The original cue was about £250 or so over 10 years ago, so must be very expensive these days. Also it has extras, like the end joint and 2 extensions.
The end joint is a Spirolok, fitted by Parris along with the telescopic extension. As for the mini butt, I telephoned Hunt and OB and asked about a mini butt, they told me they had a Spriolok extension which they would convert to a mini butt for me, which they did.
I hope that this answers your questions!

Cue looks very good for 300 GBP, is really a good deal in my opinion.
                          The shaft looks lovely. :-)
Yes, I noticed the spirloc joint on the tele in your pic.
The prongs look to be even on the bottom as well, are they?
                          Good luck.

Yes I think its a lovely cue, have used it on and off for about 12 years or so, never even considered using a different cue as any other cue would not have the same feel. I am only selling due to not being able to play any more. The shaft is very nice in my opinion and only has a very small piece of grain on the underside making it extra smooth to cue with.
