Originally the cue had a black ebony butt but it was damaged so Kevin Muncaster put 4 splices of tulipwood onto the butt end. The ash shaft is really, really nice and extremely smooth. The cue cost £160 from Green Baize and I paid Kevin Muncaster £95 for the splicing and a real ebony mini butt. I'm selling because it's too light for me and need a heavier cue. I must mention that a small piece of the tulipwood came off right at the bottom of the cue but I glued it back on and you would not notice it unless you were looking for it. I'll have some pics of the cue tomorrow and detailed specs. If anybody wants to try the cue then they are more than welcome. I'm open to offers.
