these days you can't trust a courier with a cue worth £30 - still better than royal mail with them you might as well open your window and throw it in the general direction of where you were going to send it!

tell me about it man! I killed a whole day today 9am to 5pm just to pick it up! The russian customs is something else! There's even a joke about that:

A world war 2 started 1938 but the germans attacked russia 1941. Know what they did in those 3 years? Passed the effing customs!

LOL, what did you have to do during such a long time, must be a nightmare. Can you get a custom broker to declare it for you, or can your courier (DHL, FedEx...etc) do the brokage for you for a fee?
