  • Wanted Cue - Open to any suggestions/Offers

    Hello all,

Basically I'm looking for a new cue. I'm currently using an old Peradon 57" quite a big tip (9.5mm maybe) Not sure on the weight.

Anyway I'm looking for some similar , only newer (current cue is about 25 years old).

Second hand is fine but has to be in perfect condition. Also shaft must be really smooth no friction on the bridge hand.

Also must be 3/4 split as I can't transport a "1 piece" and half splits annoy me while cueing.

Anyhow, most brands considered peradon, mastercue, cuecraft, customs (parris etc) .

I don't really want to spend much more than £100 but will consider it for the right cue. (My skill level just doesn't warrant a big spend lol)

Any suggestions for online stores welcome, also second hand ..What you got?

    Thanks

    Dean

Ok cool. Few questions I have then.

      Do you have any Pics?

What's the lengh / weight of the cue?

What's the tip size ? What type of tip is fitted?

      How old is the cue?

What woods is it made of?

How much was the cue new?

What "Model" is it, so I can have a look online

Does the cue come with a case? If so what type of case? If not how do you plan to ship it?

Can you guarentee the cue will arrive in perfect condition (i.e straight etc)?

      Many Thanks

      Dean

P.S Still open to suggestions - Thanks

            Any news yet bud?

I'm an impluse buyer and really. I shouldn't.... but I will if the cue is right.

I just want to get it done before the "impulse" wears off.

              Hi Deano .

I bought the cue second hand a few months ago for £120 plus postage from Thailand . Its a 3/4 ash with ebony butt , kinkwood splice and maple veneer .

              Specs are 17.5 oz
              57 "
              9.7mm tip
              29.5 mm butt
              Balance point 17 "

Not sure how old it is but its in excellent condition , is dead straight and is a nice player .

I,m trying to dig out some pics that are in my emails .

                Hmmm. Sounds good.....

Some pics would be great. Are you certain it's hand made and not machine made then hand finished?

                Cheers

I didn't mean any offence. I was just making sure as the ominous range does have one machine cue. Anyway I'm sure your reputation is stil on tact. Did u manage to find those pics ? I'm getting rather interested now I presume you accept paypal ? Also how long would delivery take ? Would you use royal mail or a "real" courier?
