Actualy some LP & BS ebony cue can been sold at 100 to 250 pounds in China. if 30 to 60 pounds with cosmetic process ebony cues ,it should be use the woods call black wood or MONZO / african ebony.

But you should expect these cues have been gone through some sort of cosmetic process, esp the ebony. The retail price should be around 30 to 60 pounds in China. The main problem of mass produced cues lies in the play feel, they are usually lack of power and lifeless. Some get bent easily cos they are not well seasoned. I would say they are OK for bginners or first time cue owners.

      Low price

Chinese manufacturers can keep prices low because the goods are made by children who are paid about seven cents an hour

Personally, I could never buy one of these in good conscience.

though they can get cheap labor there, but to produce a good/top notch cues it has to be done by a very experience and patient cue maker. Good workmanship is required to turn those woods and material into something

          ahi147.

If you are playing with TW cue and are happy with it, I think you'd better stick with it. In my opinion, there is quite some gap between Lp and TW in terms of craftmanship and play feel.

I don't mean to offen you kevin147, I haven't had vast experience playing with LP. But judging from my past experience, they are quite averge to me. I have no idea about the play feel of Woods cue. But let me ask you one thing, if you are not going to sell your cues in Hong Kong and China, how are you going to survive? I never heard of any Chinese made cues not sold in their homeland.

I am quite familiar with the names of Chinese made cues traded in Hong Kong and China, do you mind telling me what is the name used in both areas? I can try them out and make a brief comment.

Brand name is a very important intangible asset for any established business. I do not understand why you would choose another name for overseas customers. It doesn't make much sense to me.

two things - stainless steel does not work for cue joints - i know i have tried - in the end you can't refinish and its a nightmare. and secondly the difference between a TW and any chinese cue is massive and i mean really truely massive.

it's funny how the threadstarter never seems to answer the members' questions i.e

                      1. LP stands for
                      2. Origin of woods' name in china
                      3. painted for handspliced
                      4. who's the master make

but yet you keep pushing picture and go on and on about how great the cues are. I can't seem to see the credibility.

                        Hi all,

From 1st hand experience these cues are not worth anything near £100. I bought one of these cues off of ebay back in may. The listing was described as Handmade maple snooker cue.
Handmade my a$$!! Painted butt (and not very well either) and the maple shaft was awful.

I wouldnt waste your time, you might as well go to a sportshop and buy one from there as it would be a better buy.

No offence bro~~just curious. Why not answer the question posted by other members to clear up everyones doubt and convince us to have confidence in your cue. Or maybe get someone who is using you cue to give some comment/feedbacks. No point kept telling us ★★★ WOODS is the best. Many ppl in TSF have played with many cues made by various cue maker and we have seen to many imitation/poor quality stuff nowadays. To convince all of us think you have to do better than that.

                            Cheers.
