Lovely black ebony butt with multiple king wood splices over thick maple veneers & maple shaft. Very nice looking cue which is in excellent condition virtually brand new, used for maybe 3 hours at the most, just can't get used to maple thats all. I learned to play with a maple cue 30 odd years ago and wanted to try a modern version, but it seems i prefer ash in my old age
