As the title says i am putting the cue on here first to see if anyone is interested.
Cue is perfect in every way very clean badge and very nice stiff maple shaft also has good even splices..cue specs are....
    Tip size is 9.5mm
    Cue length is 58 inches
    Butt diam is 29.5 mm
weight is stamped on the cue at 16oz
And the ballance is a perfect 17 inches from the butt end.
Sorry i havent had time to take some quality photos of the cue yet..i hope to have done this tomorrow some time. I am selling the cue for a very good friend who dosent have much of a clue how to go about posting pics of his cue..He is asking for £250 plus £10 to cover postage..the cue will be very well packed in a solid plastic tube and will be bubble wraped also..if you are looking for a cue that looks old but plays like a new modern cue then this would be the ideal cue for you..please pm me if you are interested of you know someone who might want this stunning cue.

    thanks very much.

My money would be on Tony Ions.
I had one that was very similar in ash and the tulip was cut the same way.
Its not Tony Glover, of that im sure.

Is it possible perhaps the shaft belongs to a cue with an original weight stamp and was re-splices with tulip by another maker on the butt using the same shaft?

LOL, well, he does not want you to mess around with it.

Nothing on the shaft but pure age it has a lovely patina to the shaft..i think he put a couple of layers of bees wax on the butt and then gave it a good buff....
