eBay Hunt & Obyrne (black plate) cue

Hi,

I have Hunt & Obyrne (black Plate) cue for sale by a friend who had stopped playing snooker. He had gotten it will studying in the UK. But cue was later extended with a piece of ebony on butt which he told me was by H&O.(See Pic 1)

Had tried it on the table last nite, cue is very stiff.
Too much for my liking.

I'm probably wrong... but don't genuine 'blackplate' cues have a number on their badge and ship with a certificate signed by Will & Robert?

The cue *might* have a blackplate ( as in black lettering ) - but no way is it worth £650.

This cue is a Hunt and O'Byrne which are becoming harder to come by.

£650 is a very good price.

Ah yeah, you're right. Good luck with the sale. £650 def. worth it as the Hunt O'Byrne are rare.

I knew I'd drinking too much lately. Haha.
