I've had a couple of cases from boysonthebaize, and they are very good. The cases are real leather, but not the highest quality, and to make them longer-lasting the leather has been laminated (1st time I'd heard of that tbh). If you look around then I'm sure you can get them cheaper from the far east, but bear in mind the p&p costs!

If you want a good quality, value-for-money case from a reliable company with very good service then just contact Scott & Russell at boysonthebaize, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the input guys! Been and had alook at my friends case last night and I'm impressed. Had a Geordie case before and these cases are definately better quality and real leather I'd say. They have proper brass fitting also rather than dull silver things.

Going to order mine today from Boys on the baize...should be here tomorrow!

Hi chaps, I was unsure at first when I saw how reasonably priced the cases were...however I am glad I bought one for myself and another as a pressie for my brother as the quality is superb and the price is 35-45% cheaper than the so-called 'market-leaders'! I had one of these more expensive cases 4 or 5 years ago and for the extra money looking back it just wasn't worth it. Plus both chaps at boysonthebaize that I dealt with were really helpful and knowledgable, with the cases arriving extremely promptly. Worth the money, best colour choices and wicked patterns.

One of my team mates bought a case from these guy's, the quality of the case was absolutely fantastic for the price he paid. He recieved the case the day after he ordered it.

I was looking for a case myself but I was after specific colours. I spoke with one of the owners the company, he was one of most helpful and knowledgable guys I have ever dealt with. If this is the sort of budget you are looking to spend I don't think you can't go wrong.

If you were after a custom made case and looking to spend a bit more a brilliant company to use is north wales cases. The cases are made by crispian jones, he is a forum member. The quality of his cases are faultless.

Quick update. Received my new case today...WOW! That was quick, great service. For a change, next day delivery means next day delivery. The case is stunning, well made and a bargain I think at the price (including delivery)
Quick note: the order confirmation email from Boys on the baize included tracking number and also said that they offer a money back guarantee if I wasn't 100% satisfied"!!!! Not many companies would advertise that.
Anyone looking for a new case, give these guys a go...you won't be disaponted.

                              cue case???

Hi, im new on here and this is my first post. Im looking around for a new case and came across 'boys on the baize'. before i saw this thread I emailed them and yes they confirmed that it is real leather and the process of lamination to improve wear and tear. Im very tempted as the price is great value. Ive also been looking at some other cases from 'Craftsman cues' these also seem brilliant value they have very smart embroidered leather handles but, they dont have straps with buckles which slightly puts me off!

The other cases that i like the look of are for sale on Ebay they're called 'Rosetta ltd luxury leather cases' £98.50 plus £9.50 postage. The only thing is I cant find anyone who knows anything about the company who makes them or any reviews or recommendations but they do look great, ive emailed the seller as to the exact spec of them and am awaiting a reply.

If any one has any comments or thoughts onany of the above i would be greatful, especially as to what anyone thinks of the 'Rosetta' cases on Ebay.

                              thanks
