Sorry Andrew but I haven't come across this tool before, does it remove the old tip and can you use the tool to trim the new tip to size once in place?

No this Doesn't Remove your Old Tip, But this is Great Tool for Many Reasons please read below.

The Ultimate Tip Tool is a 5-in-1 tool that takes replaceable abrasive packs (sold separately) and aids in the replacement of cue tips and also helps with shaping, scuffing, burnishing and breathing new life back into a glazed cue tip.

Small enough to fit in your pocket or your case, Every Snooker or Pool Player could do with one of these tools in their armoury.

Some Companies Charge £17.80 for these!!......http://www.billiardsboutique.com/ult...tool-581-p.asp

its basically a tip tapper with carbide paper scuffer etc attached - very handy things to keep your tip taking chalk etc and unlike the tip pik does not destroy the tip.

this could be a long day!

it keeps your tip in order - you use a tapper to break the surface up and remove the shine or to push into the top to make slight changes to the tip.
