  • eBay S A L E S Maple Cue from Unclevit

This maple cue is customized for a member. But the total weight slightly exceeds the requirement, so our Workshop has decided to put it on Sales. They cut off many of their crafting hours, so it's a very good chance to own a quality cue at a price cheaper than standard ready-made cue :
    1. Maple Shaft is of very good quality. Specially selected by me. Brand New.
    2. 18oz weight, 9mm tip, 29.7mm butt, 57 5/8" long, Balanced at 18".
    3. The shaft wood is from Canada. Very well dried, solid and very responsive. The Action is Stiff with small spring. Tapering is standard, and no extra thickness in the middle, so the look is quite nice.
    4. Priced at US$140, no aircost yet. Paypal payment only. Ship in 3 days.
    Let me know at suvitc@gmail.com
And Sorry this is the best price I can give
    Tks for watching
    It's in the Shaft

Just thought I'd say, I had my first hit with this cue last night playing UK pool and I'm really impressed! The response and feel is perfect for me, I found it really easy to play stun and screw very accurately. The specs are quite different to my ideal specs, being 1.5 inches longer and 1oz heavier than I prefer, but after playing for an hour, this didn't bother me at all. Although I grip the cue about 3 inches from the butt, the slightly forward balance seems to compensate.

Thanks to Unlcevit and his cuemakers

Ah, that explains it then. I saw you bought another maple cue from him soon after, how does it compare to your ash cues? I'm in Brissy so you never know, you might still get to see it one day : )

oh theyre just fantastic! havnt had a single problem yet

maple hits a bit stiffer, sorta more, hard feel to it than the ash does. especially for pool. but i find i get a bit more power out of maple cues for snooker. but i have this thing where with ash, the grain makes the cue look straight, where as with maple, even though its dead straight, i still feel like it isnt, and i turn the cue until i find a point that feels 'straight' if u get what i mean. so i prefer ash over all lol

Yeah I know what you mean, I picked up that habit from my old cue 'cause it wasn't straight, and still do it now for this one even though it's dead straight.
The tip is a new one for me, single layer leather and looks like the new craftsman tips. Did you specify that?
