Wanted Need help getting a 6-7 foot slate bed pool table

I have a friend who is need of pool table.
he has already had 2 from the same company, they were non slate versions, and they charged him over 500 notes for the pleasure.
They were not true, so were sent back.
Told him that will help him get a slate one (new).
Anyone have ideas as to where to go, and also if you have personal experience of using the individuals or companies?
