Cue and case are like brand new had about 5 hours of play in total just cant get used to it so I have had a 1 Piece Statesman Powerglide gave to me and i love it.

I paid £225 for the cue and case less than 3 weeks ago if any one interested pm there offers as i dont know what the price would be to sell this.

I know what you mean but i have had this Powerglide one piece cue gave to me and it just feels so right to play with like i have played with it for years so i am sticking to using it.

Matt, for years I played with an old 2 piece Crown Cue that from memory I got from Suggs Sports in the mid eighties, was nothing special at all - even had wooden dowl joint!! But it was MY cue and I was happy with it...some years later through a combination of my own stupidity and some scroat breaking into my car it was lost forever...

I moved up several gears to a 3/4 all singing and dancing cue that was a completely different beast. I can tell you it took a hell of a lot more than 5 hours to get used to...

In time I got the hang of it and even learned to love it! Now, as Steve Davis say's, its like an extension of my arm... Really think you should persevere with the Monarch mate... it's a top class cue. Maybe get some coaching from your locals as there's load of good players in Shirebrook who can help you improve...:snooker:
