That's a very old Monarch mate. Looks in quite good nic, but no disrespect mate I can supply a Cue Craft Monarch with multi-spliced exotic hardwood butt into the shaft, inc. coloured veneer and a Air-lock butt joint for less than you're asking... and it's brand new...

Doubt very much you'll get anywhere near £200 squid... best bet would be try e-bay...

thx advices snookerpoolman, yes, I also told my friend same point as yours but he think there is very difficult to get that old and nice condition cue nowaday. Most guys are much more interested in those old JP ultimate, will huunt or H & O'B cues rather than new cues for these cue brand. Anyway i just post cue here for my friend that can it be sold is not my concern.

Yeah no worries, you make a good point there though, a lot of people seem obsessed with names, rather than value for money. The Cue Craft hand spliced range are equal quality at around half the price, plus you don't need to wait 6 - 8 months for your cue to be ready. My customised cue orders usually take 2 - 3 weeks, so customers are playing with a top quality Hand-spliced cue, made to their own specification, within a month of order...

Tell your mate good luck, it looks in good condition, so set a reserve on Ebay and make sure you inc. a phone no' for cash bids to save you the dreaded ebay and Paypal fees....

It's a nice cue, and the old Cuecraft cues were very good, and much better than the new ones. I don't like the name plate at all though.

I would have to disagree slightly with Dave on this occasion, in that if I had the choice, I would buy the old Cuecraft before the new in regards to most cues, and though it's one piece (not for me) I agree with your friend in that it is worth good money, and he is right to stand his ground on this occasion and try to get a good price.

Most guys won't pay £200, but most guys would want the cue if they played with it. It's the way of the world. If it had a Parris badge on they'd be jumping all over it. Had it been 3/4 I'd have been interested.
