It could be, I know it's not a Standard Black Shark. I haven't seen any of the White Sharks, so if anyone can confirm this either way I would be happier to know it's listed correctly.

Thanks it is a lovely cue though and will do somebody a great job.

Just a quick question and forgive me if I'm wrong, its say's handmade on the badge, but isn't that a machine spliced butt?

Yep! I'm not sure if Trading Standards have visited Mike Wooldridge about this.

The bottom line is that Mike Wooldridge is a fine cuemaker who believes in this method of splicing to create a more affordable cue that plays beautifully. They are cheaper because it saves splicing time. If he chooses to put Hand Made on it I don't really care as long as it plays well and it does.

                  See this http://www.handmadecues.com/info/52-splicingmethods.htm

I don't believe anyone would be disappointed with this cue!

A lad on my Monday night league team has one of these cues, but with the red inlays, its a very nice cue indeed

Everyone says that these are fantastic cues, I am wondering if I am doing the right thing selling it????

Maybe I should just get used to the bigger butt?

Is it the butt diameter (30mm) that is the problem? Do you have small hands? If it's not causing discomfort, or inaccuracy then it might just be that you're not used to it. Try a few lineups with it and compare that to your usual/other cue .. bear in mind that it will feel different and you will perform slightly worse with it until you get used to it. If it seems to perform as well, or almost as well then I reckon it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I don't think I have small hands and they are bigger than my girlfriend's...................................... .......hands! It just feels larger in the hand than my previous cue (stolen) and feels a little more club-like in my hand.

It is all personal preference and at this moment I am willing to let this go and try out a slimmer but and take it from there.

                            This cue is hand spliced.

Mikes shark range has butterfly splicing (2 round splices rather than your normal 4)
