Hard to find information on these things but i managed to find this!



Very interesting and this is the first time i have ever heard of these things! They seem really good and i wonder why no one makes them anymore? Surely there is a market for them as an alternative to messy glues.

I bought a few wafers probably a hundred years old. Need to try them if they still stick. Was wondering what material they are made from. Does anyone know?
