I have a very nice and interesting North West Cue that I am letting go on behalf of a contact.

Specs are:

58" 1pc Maple
Ebony Butt with 4 Green Veneers and 4 Tulipwood Splices
18 1\2oz
9mm Tip

North West Cues Badged with a Plain 'E.Diggle' style slanting badge.

I am not sure why, could only guess that somebody preferred the feel of the badge there and maybe used it as a point of reference for their grip.

It may strike a chord with somebody.

Yeah it is the old style with the Rose opposed to the St George's Cross.

was the cue originally made by north west?

perhaps it didnt have the tulipwood splices and the original owner wanted the splicing done with the original badge put back on the cue as well as the north west badge

The information that I have been given is that it was made by North West Cues, however I do not yet have a clear shot of the splicing which is for me is the tell tale sign of a North West Cue and should show trademark dagger shape splicing.

I think as much as I want to help my contact out it may be best that he sells this through eBay given the uncertainty around this.
